Increase in petrol prices after 1 year : India

To stem the losses of state owned retailers, the government have finally decided to increase the petroleum prices. With the increase, the petrol price became Rs.4 / per litre expensive while the diesel became Rs.2 / per litre expensive. Other type of oil prices were remained un-changed.Last time the fuel prices were raised was on 4th June, 2008. Though there after there were 2 cuts in fuel
